34 seconds in and he says

whatever a particular country tariffs us, we reciprocate and just mirror image them

It took less than two minutes before the armchair economists showed up to pretend they know more about economics than VDH
More will arrive soon, I predict.

He has a pHD in classics, not economics.

That’s a straw man for the topic at hand

Brilliant analysis, as usual. He explains it better than anyone.

You are showing your stupidity here.

But I responded to your argument, not the topic at hand.
Why does a doctorate in classics makes him an authority on economics?

By pointing out his argument is based on a lie? How?

The man is a genius. He has such a wide ranging knowledge so many topics.

VDH, a non economic talking head is now MAGA expert on economics.

I enjoyed VDH before he got too political. Who Killed Homer was a foundational book that I read around 2005.
That doesn't make him any authority on economics, as the poster above ignorantly argued.

You watched a promo and not the whole video.
Go ahead and refute point by point the things he says.

Its almost like history repeats itself & we shouldn’t ignore it

Another strawman. You’re on a roll, Bozo.
I never said he was an authority on economics nor did I cite his education. I simply stated that the armchair economists like yourself and Roger would inevitably show up to pretend they know more than VDH.
I was right.

I posted a quote, that was a lie.
Was his entire argument not based on that lie?
