Yep.

After Vietnam, McCain did absolutely nothing remarkable and original that makes him stand out as a politician.

He was a bitter, self entitled and lazy old man that was narcissist to his core and he had no redeeming qualities to make that up.

He had none Donald Trump's courage and bravery, none of the political gamesmanship of Mitch McConnell and none of the compassion and empathy of Ronald Reagan.

It's so telling that when it was obvious that the brain tumor was going to kill him and he was never ever coming back to the senate for another vote, McCain still refused to step aside, resign and let Arizona have a healthy senator giving them full time representation.

He held onto his senate seat to his very last dying breath and deprived Arizona of a full time senator for nearly a year. There are very few things more pathetic, enraging and self serving than that.

one of those clips may well be the "heroic" thumbs down vote that "saved Obamacare". So selfless and heroic...the maverick sticking up for the little guy.

Nope. Ot was selfish, cowardly and attention-seeking-->that particular one being the antithesis of heroic behavior. He told reporters before the vote to be sure to "stick around for the show." I can't make myself worked up enough over politics like so many do, but that moment is top 5 for me. Still worked up over it.
