Dude I did the same thing with my MRE desert all the time to one of my terps daughters in Afghanistan. No one ever beat her for it as far as I know though.

Yeah, this was just some random little girl we were rolling past. I used to always throw candy from care packages at kids until then.

If we absolutely must take refugees, then it should be limited to women and children and the elderly.

In my time in Nam I saw plenty of atrocities committed by both sides but it will always be the children I remember most. To see them, and know they will have little opportunity to have a fulfilling life, will stay with me. I can empathize with my fellow JarHead.
