Being consistent, you oppose sales taxes too, right?

I like taxes that are levied by legislatures, not the whims of a president who doesn't have that power without the advice and consent of the Congress.

No one has attempted to answer my question. Why should I want a blanket 15% tariff on European goods?

Would this deal have been worse with reciprocal zero tariff on most goods?

Page after page. Downvote after downvote.

And no one touches the question.

Pussies.

Well that’s just factually incorrect

So now the truth comes out. Taxes really aren’t this issue for you as you have no problem paying more in taxes so long as they’re levied by politicians not named Trump.

That's so dumb. I believe in the enumerated powers of the constitution.

Downvote that, bitches.

What I can't understand is why do you guys keep responding to this moron Wisconsin, who is an obvious alter, and other losers like SFP, etc? The best thing everyone could do is to legit never respond again to the board trolls and contrarians. You're feeding them by responding to them.

As much of an insufferable cunt SFP is, he's not completely braindead, he just likes to argue braindead takes.

You don't realize that being called braindead by this cesspool is a high compliment.

Still waiting.

This doesn’t explain your contradiction. You only threw this out there when you were exposed for supporting taxes after previously complaining that Trump’s tariffs are taxes.

Exposed for.... supporting the concept of taxes? And i'm hypocritical if I don't support any form of taxation that they come up with? C'mon dude.

Why do other countries levy tariffs on the US if they’re so bad for the country issuing the tariff? I’m not really politically motivated so looking for a real answer to understand the situation. For the outside it seems that the old adage “what’s good for the goose……..”

First of all, tariffs are a tool, and there are some cases I agree with. This is an example of one I don't.

What you're talking about most likely is protectionism for a good the country produces. Like how we don't want cheap Chinese cars flooding our market. Fine. The goal with that isn't as much to raise revenue than to strongly deter the purchase.

This EU small enough that its not going to deter much consumer behavior, but's big enough to be annoying and unnecessary. Just a tax on the American consumer.
