I have had friends that have gotten in horrific circumstances in the surf and lived the tell about it but lost part of their bathing suit in the process. Nolan Wells could have been just the same if his suit was missing, and I am sure a lot of sea creatures were making the most of his body while he was out there for 48 hours.....anything could have happened the his bathing suit..
