UAE WARNS OF MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD RADICALIZATION ON UK CAMPUSES, SLASHES FUNDING
Abu Dhabi is tightening funding for Emirati students heading to British universities, citing fears that Muslim Brotherhood-linked ideas could spread on campus.
The UAE views the Muslim Brotherhood as a major threat and has long pushed the UK and other Western countries to take tougher action.
It is not a blanket ban, but if your family cannot pay out of pocket, the UK just became a much tougher sell.
Officials say degrees from non-approved UK universities will not be recognized at home, turning those diplomas into very expensive wall art.
If a Gulf ally is treating the UK like a campus radicalisation hotspot, that says a lot.
