in the open primary. The top 4 vote getters move on to the general election. This can't possibly be a coincidence.
The Republican candidate with an opponent sharing the same name is U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska.
His opponent with the same name is registered as a Republican.
The Candidate Breakdown:
The Incumbent: Two-term Republican incumbent Senator Dan S. Sullivan is seeking re-election.
The Challenger: A retired schoolteacher named Dan J. Sullivan is also on the ballot.
Context:
Senator Dan Sullivan and his allies have commented on the challenger's presence on the ballot. They have raised concerns about potential voter confusion.
Dan J. Sullivan has responded to these comments, stating his political alignment.
Both the Alaska Democratic Party and the campaign of his prominent Democratic rival, Mary Peltola, have issued statements regarding any involvement with the challenger.
State election officials initially sought to remove the challenger from the ballot, but the Alaska Supreme Court allowed him to remain on the ballot.

Voters in Alaska are almost as stupid as voters in Minnesota

Very clever of those dirty leftists.
We need to find a stealth conservative named Tim Kain.
ETA: this was set up by ranked choice voting. Now we see how that system can be manipulated.
