LINK

For a Democrat, I kinda liked her. I didn't agree with much of her politics but she struck me as "reasonable" in her beliefs...

For someone that brags about her military background makes me want to call her a coward for voting "Present"..

Make a damn decision and own it.

Her true colors came out on that vote.

Yeah very weak move.

I'd respect a yes vote more than that.

She is only one from a non Trump district who didnt vote Y. I think she should be praised.

Hope to meet her next Saturday in Honolulu

I dont understand the play at all. It made the least sense politically of all the decisions so why not go with what you actually feel

She'll be forced out of the primaries now.

Exactly. You are running for the very office that this vote concerned and your opinion was "present?"

GTFO.

Same here.

She always stood up to the establishment in the past, so why not vote no?

Or if she thinks he did something mint peachable, vote yes even if your base will abandon you and think you're a party hack.

Present makes zero sense.

I was wondering who the present vote was.

Barry did this a lot during his brief time in the Senate to give himself plausible deniability on a lot of votes.

My interest in her is mainly due to her military background. That got me to listen to her a little. As a fellow veteran and one who comes from a family of veterans with a daughter currently serving in the Air Force, when I see a Major in the Army that is trained to make decisions and she can't make a yes or no answer to a simple question is my issues.

She basically said she believes he should be impeached but can't find proof of a crime so she is sitting this one out.

I think she is not running for re-election in the House.

I actually see it as the integrity move. The Dem talking point about an "impartial trial" in the senate begs the question - if you have to be an impartial juror, can Sanders, Warren, Booker, Bennet, et al. vote?

We know they're being disingenuous and of course will never insist that their own party members who are running/ran for president sit it out. It would make a 2/3's majority impossible.

Voting "Present" shows that Gabbard actually believes in that principle.

She probably voted "present" to avoid a potential conflict of interest charge during her Presidential run.

She should have voted no, IMO. But then there would be no support from her party in 2020. Tough position.

I always laughed at the dolts that fawned all over her because she looked decent from 100 yards away.

Bunch of virgin clowns.
