Inflation hurts the poor and people on fixed income the most. It is by far the worse tax possible. Prices go up, but their income does not. In the end, they are just left with trying to survive with less, or giving up luxuries and things they previously had.

In the bible, Jesus talks about how the poor woman giving a very small donation was a much bigger thing than the rich person who give a lot more.

Because for her to give that much meant she had to sacrifice something and it made up a larger % of her wealth. While the rich can give more while still having plenty left over and making no real sacrifice.

However, all income taxes should be illegal, rich or poor. Just because someone is rich it doesn't justify the theft.

You however just care about yourself and if you are currently getting enough income. But the funny thing is - when you get old you're going be the one getting fricked.

I don't care what the rate of theft has been over the past 50 years. I care that the theft continues.
