A aid probably bought all the food with a official credit card, and the cost will be added to the expense bill all presidents personally pay every month. Presidents and their family are billed monthly by the White house Bursar for a large amount of the expenses incurred by the White House. They are billed monthly by the Whitehouse Bursar. This includes all food not associated with a official function, toilet paper, the hourly pay of any wait staff used for a non-official function, etc.
