This is Trump's line in the sand, when it comes to high profile celebs who lie - and become activist for the political Left. There will be a public price to pay. Just like Trump dumped on Joe Scarborough, he lets them know that if you grab the bull you'll get the horns. No mulligans. For something that had nothing to do with fricking Wallace it has made the headlines in several national newspapers and is all over the broadcast news deriding him as racist, defending the confederate cause and flag, and making child like remarks. At some point someone he has confidence in needs to step in and get him to share his tweets and get feed back before he hits the send button. His spontaneous and reactive nature and the fact he was never a poitician contributes.
America has too much at stake in the future to do any less. His hard core support like myself are going to vote for him but it's the 10% who will decide America's future that are at risk. Right now the con artist Wallace has caused a boom for Democrats by getting him too late night tweet.
