the highest paid government employees make about 150k senior level bureaucrats are capped at 130k.
the only gubberment employees making substantially more than that would be senior level medical doctors in the VA and CDC at just less than 400k but those same doctors would be making twice that or more in private practice.
i don't know how much of a diplomat you're gonna get for 150k!

This is wrong. There are thousands of govt jobs that pay well above $150k.

no federal employee makes more than the president that's 400k there are several doctors in the VA and CDC that make close to that the average run of the mill federal employee tops out at about 130k if you're talking about all government then yes there are many municipal and state employees making above 150k.
