Expect a little bit more rise due to this tweet.

Hitler tweeted about the NYT too

I guess we should throw out all historically references since that didn't have cell phones and the internet during those times.

No more Maoist or Marxist reference from here forward.

You do know that presidents have ignored SCOTUS rulings in the past, correct?

And you plan on ignoring by suing for libel in a court system how?

Presidents and politicians of all walks of life have ignored the constitution and supreme court rulings since the inception of this country. What's your point? I'm only referring to his petty bullshite about "changing libel laws".

I am praying to God as we type that, if Obama sues Trump for libel, Trump hires a Poliboarder to defend him and deposes Obama.

Nah, Hitler wouldn't have fricked up repeal and replace.

Trump is an older, less charming Biff Tannen.

How many hours would be spent on establishing Onama's Muslim allegiance?

Didn't this "literally Hitler" term originate from the right in their attempt to delegitimize any comparison to Trump to Hitler?

I think that's how it went. No one ever said he was literally anything.

Obama has too much class, but I wish he would sue Trump for libel.

Except for the part where his own staff went on MSNBC and confirmed they were grabbing intel of Trump staff and passing it around

"Literally Hitler" has been around way longer than Trump.

The stuff they say about him does border on libel.

The bullshite they spew on a good number of things probably violates libel laws. These "unbiased media" outlets are nothing more than propaganda mouthpieces for the right and left by and large. Pravda Lite.

The those people should sue, but they want (because they have no case).

NYT is up almost $2 since this time last year, Trump is, quite ironically, a huge boon for them.

Understand what you are saying, and I agree that Trump has probably helped the NYT. However, how do they compare to 10 years ago? Let's face it...people are going elsewhere for their news these days and almost (If not all) newspapers are in trouble because of that.

Just because they have gotten a small bump because of Trump doesn't mean they are doing fine.

The New York Times Company reported a $14 million net loss for the first quarter of 2016 as it continued to grapple with how to offset falling revenue in print advertising. Digital subscriptions remained a bright spot for the company, showing robust growth.

Examples, please? And in listing your examples please explain in what way the statements are libelous. Thanks.

Poor thing can't handle people not saying nice things about him. Gonna sue them for libel. At least he spelled libel correctly.

He's not wrong about libel laws. You shouldn't be able to just post anything you want and if it's a total lie "too bad, you're a public figure"

Of course the irony is that he lies about people all the time, but that's a different matter altogether.

I mean there is a huge problem for print media in general right now. I'm not arguing that, I just find it funny that Trump continues to throw them bones.

I wonder how much stock he owns.
