You are underestimating the size and scope of the illegal activities of these organized paramilitary organizations.

Not at all, but you are ignoring the market that provides incentives for dealers/suppliers.

Economic law says if the market is lucrative enough, risks will be taken and drugs will be supplied.

Wiping out the cartels is like wiping out ISIS or Al Qaeda, in that the next incarnation will immediately form.

Sheinbaum would start losing family members if she agreed to surrender Mexican sovereignty to Yankees.

Cartels won't do to her what they did to Colosio back in the 90s. They'll bleed her.

Stupid headline. Stupid article. It’s all speculation about what Trump could do and how bad it is. The fake news makes up shite to criticize

Trump being stupid again. That’s called an invasion.

So what you’re saying is a couple of dozen people illegally entering Mexico is an invasion but 40 million Hispanic people illegally entering America is not.

I will put you down in the retarded column.

Did you include yourself on that list as well?

I think you should do this.

Well, you're retarded if you think a couple of dozen people could have any impact on the cartels at all.

DeSantis says he supports deploying military along U.S.-Mexico border Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis tells Norah O'Donnell, anchor and managing editor of the "CBS Evening News," that he supports deploying the U.S. military to the U.S.-Mexico border with authorization to use deadly force against Mexican cartel members. Screw that! Invade Mexico up to 100 miles and make it a no move zone.

This argument has been offered the last 75 times on this topic.
So, ur for doing nothing because it won't totally solve the problem.
While myself and others believe strong and decisive action should be taken to curtail the problem.

We can again offer everyone's opinions(on 100 pages)but everyone will still have their own opinion.
Ignore it or take action.

Correct. And Mexico allowed and encouraged their citizens and others to invade the United States first.

You and I are not privy to direct communications between the leaders of our nations, but it is totally plausible that President Sheinbaum secretly wants to U.S. to deal militarily with the cartels but has to publicly say otherwise.

This could very well be the case. If Sheinbaum publicly endorses this, she is dead and she knows it.

Exactly, it’s the politicians, judges, police force and military who are bought and paid for to do the cartel’s bidding.

Not unconvinced that there’s some of that going around on our side of the border

It’s a bit difficult to get a handle on the demand side when they are shipping this stuff in by the tons and doing so with impunity.

Half of Mexico’s authorities have been corrupted and the other half intimidated.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Sheinbaum is cooperating fully here. Look to what we did in Colombia back in the late 80’s and early 90’s.

I didn’t realize we were allowed to use our military in a capacity that is beneficial to normal Americans? Did we run out of regimes to change in the Middle East for the time being?

Too young to have read “Clear and Present Danger”, or seen the movie version?
