I'm just posting in this thread to see if The Shrub calls me a union lover.

Canada has been pushing tariffs on the US since the 1820’s, and after a delay, ramped them up in 1866. Sounds like we are getting square.

Thats good but what are those measures? The whole reason I liked Trump was he gave details and was more transparent than other politicians. This isn’t it

Geez!!! Trump is doing great, but he is only human. Give him a few minutes! The man is looking at many many moving parts.

Or to get our allies to stop imposing tariffs and VATs on our goods so we have legitimate FREE TRADE.

Let me ask you Roger, now that Canada has agreed to acquiesce, will trade go back what it was before the tariffs were announced by Trump? Or will they work to eliminate the imbalance?

You are far from the smartest person in this thread, Roger. That is why you are having such a hard time just admitting you were wrong.

In one week from now, will America be in a more favorable position with Canada or a less favorable position?

Will there be more job growth and opportunity for Americans or less?

This morning we woke up with the retard in Ontario cutting off electricity to Americans.

Where so we sit now, less than 12 hours later?
Why is that?

That’s one reason the other is their tariffs, some of 200+%, along with their leaders threatening us because it hurts them. There’s a reason why Canada is throwing a fit because it’s not to their advantage.

Hurts Canadians.

Why are we wealthier than Canada?

Diversified economy, natural resources, population, form of government, etc...

And if tariffs were not imposed on American goods in Canada, American companies would benefit or suffer?

Well first off your endorsement is a major negative if you want people to listen to him.

Second of all just because he likely works on taxes and spends time on the TD money board, which I’ve admittedly never visited, doesn’t mean he knows frick all about tariffs.

As the last 6 months or so have shown us many many times

This isn’t the 1960s anymore. The self proclaimed “experts” become more irrelevant mostly by the day as you can use YouTube or the vast library of the internet to become far far more accurately knowledgeable about most specific subjects than they are
