The crime rate is down and it’s attributed to them finally prosecuting gun crimes.

Nope, the published rate is down due to intentional non reporting of violent crime stats, along with lax policing. Several years of these practices in deep blue crime ridden cities was to get the lemmings to buy the DNC/MSM narrative that crime was down under Biden. Clearly the general population didn’t buy this narrative, hence Trump in a landslide.
No way to know the real crime rate, but it likely isn’t down if the Dems find these measures necessary.
