i used to see this regularly at the beginning of each month and finally was returning something at the same time and asked the girl behind the counter "how can someone buy an entire shopping cart full of shite by mistake and then need to return it?"

thats when she told me how the scam works and there was nothing they could do about it even if they wanted to.

any valid purchase made with EBT cards can only be refunded with cash or store gift card because credits arent possible or even allowed to be processed for those cards.

i dont see how food items should EVER be returnable anyway thats how we end up buying shite thats already been spoiled sitting out in a shopping basket somewhere and then just put back on the shelf
