He hits the ball well but he looks like around an 8 handicap depending on the tees

If you watch his swing it really is incredible for a guy pushing 80. He gets better shoulder turn than most guys half his age, and his club head speed looks legit too. His feet are a little dancy but he keeps a straight line and it’s repeatable. Definitely a “feel” guy with the putter and has good touch. Scratch? Probably not. I’ve heard he talks non-stop and cares more about making sure his playing partners are comfortable and having a good time. He probably takes a drop or two, a few gimmes and breakfast balls. Not nearly as much as me lol
