It makes me sad that a fine lawyer like Dershowitz had to embarrass himself with that weak-assed tap dance of an explanation

Why didn't they say "abuse of power" in the constitution?

Yea. It's absurd to think that someone could change their opinion on something from 31 years ago. What a putz Dershowitz is.

Naddlers: Impeachment and crime are separate... that's why impeachment does not punish the individual, it removes them from office!

Constitution:

quote:

ARTICLE I, SECTION 3, CLAUSE 7
Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.

Seems like there's a relationship.

Q: what did Amb. Bolton mean when he mentioned that "drug deal?"

And now Schitts is speculating on the subjective intent of someone who has never been called as a witness.

These politicians change there mind all the time to please what they think the voters want to hear and have zero integrity. However, a guy with high integrity and respected constitutional layers I am sure would have a good reason to change his mind on something after 31 years of more learning.
