Schumer didn't waste but maybe 2 minutes to bitch, they won't stop.

Chuckie child batman saying no witnesses, no documents means no acquittal. (Remember when Schiff said they have all the documents they needed)

McConnell has issued a statement after the vote to block witnesses:

"A majority of the U.S. Senate has determined that the numerous witnesses and 28,000-plus pages of documents already in evidence are sufficient to judge the House Managers’ accusations and end this impeachment trial.

There is no need for the Senate to re-open the investigation which the House Democratic majority chose to conclude and which the Managers themselves continue to describe as “overwhelming” and “beyond any doubt.” Never in Senate history has this body paused an impeachment trial to pursue additional witnesses with unresolved questions of executive privilege that would require protracted litigation. We have no interest in establishing such a new precedent, particularly for individuals whom the House expressly chose not to pursue.

Senators will now confer among ourselves, with the House Managers, and with the President’s counsel to determine next steps as we prepare to conclude the trial in the coming days."

We need to all send thank you notes to Liz Warren for pushing Murkowski to vote no.

Could you explain this? I don't know the backstory. Thanks.

The turtle metaphor is especially salient here.

McConnell took his time, undersold expectations (remember I don't have the votes), and let things play out.

Nancy and Schiff couldn't wait to rush this thing into the Senate.

The turtle beats the hare again.

The Senate voted 51-49 to defeat a motion to allow subpoenas for witnesses and documents, with two Republicans, Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Mitt Romney of Utah, joining Democrats to back extending the trial.

You aren't an idiot, silly-- you didn't know. I heard Warren scream her yes. I wonder if she is pissed that her hyper-partisan comments caused Murkowski to vote no?

"Yolanda" from Georgia calls on CSPAN and starts screaming about how Trump is taking away food stamps and why he guilty. Even the host says "that's not why he's being impeached" and she says "well he still guilty".

edit: while Don Lemon and Rick "Cum Rag" Wilson laughs about how Trump voters hate geography and book learnin.
