The Smith Act of 1940 signed into law by FDR makes it against Federal Law to advocate the overthrow of the US Government and also requires all non citizen adults in the US to register with the government. The law has been amended a few times and there were certain cases that parts of the law were ruled unconstitutional, BUT....

When the snowflakes hit the streets screaming for the government to be overthrown and advocating revolution, the Justice Department could dust this law off and arrest the leaders and financiers of what we know is coming. Sure they will run to the courts, but they will be out of action for some time while their cases crawl through the system.

They can also use this law to force all adult immigrants to immediately register with the government, or be deported when they fail to do so.

They have this tool in the box, time to use it once again.

So when a liberal uses that law to round up some Tea Partiers you'll be okay with that? If Obama had done what you are advocating this board would have lost its shite.

The problem with laws like that is they seem great when your side is in charge but not so much when the other side has power.

If you guys can't handle some hollering from your opponents then you need to nut up.

Plus, freedom of speech and assembly and all that.

I have no doubt that Jeff Sessions masturbates to the thought of this.

He is the only reason I am second guessing myself for voting Trump to this point, he needs to be jettisoned immediately.

Speak freely all you wish. But when you are out there screaming revolution and rioting, which we saw on several occasions during the campaign, this is a way to stop the George Soroses of the world that finance this and the"community organizers" that foment violence.

I would not advocate using it against peaceful protesters, but there were far too many that were not.

We can also use this to force the illegals to come out of hiding. A perfect tool and already on the books.

You could use this law to round every last one of them up. The illegals either check in or they are wanted fugitives. And as they come in contact with different agencies they are picked up.

No, we won't do any such thing. They are revealing their true nature to the people of our Republic, and destroying themselves in the process. The media, Soros, Bloomberg etc have finally over reached, and that is the one thing that can't be undone.

What part of NON CITIZENS do you not understand?

People who are not citizens have ZERO rights under our constitution.

"Tea Partiers" are citizens.

How does the Tea Party fit your description? They advocated for adherence TO the Constitution and law. They also suggested that our elected officials actually read the bills they sign into law as per their oath of office. Sooo...what do you mean?

Silly post. Because a peaceful protest is one thing, but what went on during the campaign at Trump Rallies was something else.

Hit the streets advocating revolution, killing Trump and other ignorance, while damaging property, threatening the safety of others and just plain violating their civil rights IMO this law applies to YOU.
