Good on Harvard for standing up to this regime. At least they still believe in free speech. We need more institutions willing to not bend the knee.

No. Endangering, harassing, threatening, physically accosting ANY student at a university (OR ANYWHERE) located in the US of A, is a crime.

The administration will bend the knee and fold, just like they do on every other issue every day.

Go up there and start making points from a conservative view and see how free they consider that speech.

Of course you already know that, you're just yet another dishonest left wing hack

Harvard will not fail.

Understand the amount of business horsepower behind them. Their endowment is enormous for a reason….

On topic: if my firm adjusts its policy due to Fed contracts, then Harvard should also be in the same discussion receiving FEDERAL grants.

This is not a free speech angle when you’re on the receiving end of someone’s else’s money.

Harvard has an endowment with 53 billion dollars. WTF are taxpayers giving them one damned cent, regardless of policy differences? Same for the other ivies.

Colleges need to start shrinking administrative levels, with the ultimate end of lowering tuition prices. They won't do that if they are living high on the hog.

Its part of why I have to pay $45,000 per year for my kid to go to LSU

Now do government loans

Such an ignorant post. Harvard believes in free speech for one side, but not the other as they demonstrated during the college campus protest.

Some of that $2 billion goes to medical research. I’d say keep that part in place. We never know where the next big medical breakthrough will occur.

They have an endowment of $53.2 billion. With a bullet. If the purpose of educational grants is to broaden and ensure the educational success of our nation, why isn’t this money going to public state schools, junior colleges, or God forbid vocational schools? You know… People who actually need the fricking money

This right fricking here.....

If it's the US governments money shouldn't the first amendment protect your speech from them?

Regardless of the circumstances, a school getting $2B in grants is ridiculous. Don't care over how many years.
