VA hospitals should be closed, all vets should be given a card that must be accepted at any hospital that takes federal dollars.
Pete Hegseth mentioned this on the Sean Ryan Show well before he was under consideration for Sec Def. It seems this is the direction he'd like to go for Veterans care. It would be a major boost to medical facilities also to make up for the non insured patients that they're forced to treat. Assuming that the contractual determined payouts by the VA admin are acceptable.

Heard Doug Collins speak at a conference earlier this week in DC, and he told us that his team had already found a lot of waste, and that they'd be streamlining things and focusing more on serving Veterans, instead of nonsense things. Doug is a very good speaker, btw. You can tell he is a preacher.

Why not just give veterans free health care? Or all Americans?
