I think it’s even funnier the total meltdown this thread would be having if we replaced trump with obama

Yeah, it's amusing for sure. The same thing with Trump's gun control bullshite. People would lose their minds, and they did when Obama pulled that shite.

no one word about trump raising your taxes?

Hes not raising taxes. States collect sales tax not the feds.

It's amusing to watch "conservatives" defend this, though

I agree. We both know that not all Trump supporters are conservatives, though.

If, while traveling, I stop in Kansas to stay in a hotel and I buy something off Amazon and have it delivered to my hotel in Colorado, should I pay the sales tax in Kansas, Louisiana, or Colorado. Why should I pay Louisiana when I bought it in Kansas and picked it up in Colorado?

Unless I am missing something, Trump won't be doing anything. It will be the individual states that will decide whether to do this (which they probably will). BUT, anyone with a problem with this needs to take it up with their STATE government.

Agreed. Many claim to be, though.

im in the same boat, its not entirely clear what this does, but from other things ive read, essentially it's this...

1. I live in California

2. When I buy things online now, I dont pay local sales tax

3. if trump has his way, I will pay local sales tax

therefore, trump is working to raise taxes on everyone who shops online.

conservatives should be losing their minds, especially with the way hes going about this.

Not a fan of paying more taxes but I've always wondered why it wasn't in place from the start of online sales?
