Hell, I never believed in climate change until today. I was sitting in front of my fireplace and the ice in my drink started melting....we're doomed I tell ya!

If politics would have stayed out of it I bet we would all agree at the very least that the earth is warming. It will take water up to Kansas to make someone admit okay fine maaaaybe we should cut back. “Not losing” has become more important than being correct about something.

Seriously, are you high? Your sentences, if they can even be considered sentences, don't make sense. "We can't drink our water because there's a dead zone along the coast."

"Oh, I don't mean Louisiana. I mean the coast up in the mountains."

Do you realize the "dead zone" is filled with life? It's called that by Chicken Little scientists who want to create hysteria so they can keep getting more government grants. The dead zone isn't dead. It's very much alive.

And it's "too" not "to."

Most of you do now, not many are left that don’t think the climate is getting warmer, whether by cyclical reasons or whatever. I don’t really see anyone admitting that here but they should be all over people like you so they don’t get lumped in with your stupidity

The Earth has been warming for the last 10,000-15,000 years. You know, since the most recent Ice Age ended. And my SUV didn't have a damn thing to do with it....

No, but it could have something to do with the rate at which it’s warming. Every scaled down experiment of air with pollutants in it prove to make it warmer. I don’t see the benefit in not admitting to reading the number of the higher temperature. Do you just refuse to read the different numbers on the boxes when they run those?

Trump is really disgusting. Look at the wildfires which have ravaged California this year. And four of the worst hurricanes EVER in the Atlantic basin this year. Not to mention extreme heat, drought, floods, etc.

The climate is going to heck and Trump encourages Alabamians to vote for Roy Moore! It's Nero fiddling while Rome burns, deja vu all over again.

The leftist don't even get to enjoy their Doug Jones win for 2-3 days before the GEOTUS has them melting again.

I meant that 33 was the coldest day up to the day it snowed, which was 12/8. I guess I didn't word that very well.

Are you referring to the numbers that have been fabricated, er...adjusted, to agree with computer models? No, I don't waste time doing that. Especially since 100% of the predictions made by Al Gore & his fellow warmers have failed to happen.

But since you do, tell me, in what year was the Earth the perfect temperature that we should strive to return to?

No. I'm suggesting the national security interests of this country would be better served if a president deferred to accomplished career experts in areas where he has no experience.

Trump Admin to remove climate change from list of nat'l security threats

just another example of Trumps administration being.. inconsistent

quote:

U.S president Donald Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act on Tuesday (Dec 13), a bill that sets policy for the US military for the coming fiscal year. Surprisingly, the bill contains a sizable discussion of climate change.

In the bill, current and former top US military brass attest to the national security threat of a rapidly changing climate. By signing the bill, Trump also ordered a report on “vulnerabilities to military installations” that climate change could cause in the next 20 years.

“As global temperatures rise, droughts and famines can lead to more failed states, which are breeding grounds of extremist and terrorist organizations,” the bill reads. “In the Marshall Islands, an Air Force radar installation built on an atoll at a cost of $1,000,000,000 is projected to be underwater within two decades.”

“A three-foot rise in sea levels will threaten the operations of more than 128 United States military sites, and it is possible that many of these at-risk bases could be submerged in the coming years,” it continues. “In the Arctic, the combination of melting sea ice, thawing permafrost, and sea-level rise is eroding shorelines, which is damaging radar and communication installations, runways, seawalls, and training areas.”

Secretary of defense James Mattis is quoted saying that the consequences of climate change “impact our security situation.” Gordon Sullivan, former chief of staff of the US Army, is quoted as saying climate change will “lead to instability in geopolitics and impact American military operations around the world.”
