Roger,

How many years did you work as a nurse? We all have friends and relatives who are nurses. That’s much different than actually doing the job. How long did you do it? Were you satisfied with your compensation?

You should be able to write your own ticket. If you cant get a raise where youre at or are unhappy with the conditions, move to another facility.

And if their way of getting better conditions or a raise is to unionize?

What about you?

How many years have you taught school?

How many years have you been a nurse?

How many years have you been a CEO?

Thanks.

I don't mind them unionizing I hate that the government forces companies to recognize and deal with the union

Youre fricked.

Sitting around waiting for someone else to negotiate your future sounds like a losing ideal.

Nursing is a skilled occupation. I have no issues with them becoming unionized given the circumstances.

I can’t help but laugh watching the baristas and third grade teachers wanting to unionize though. FOH

I’m supporting what the nurses organized to do. I’m not claiming to be an expert in their field. They are the experts. I trust them.

You think you know what’s best for them better than they do. I’m wondering how you’re so confident you know what’s best for strangers.

You’re welcome.

So basically you dont work as a nurse (neither do I) but think you know everything about their issues.

Interesting.

You appear to support only female dominated professions and want them unionized. You have no faith in women.

I don’t know everything about anything. These nurses aired their grievances and I believe them. You don’t. Or you think their grievances don’t matter. Either way, you’re being awfully arrogant without any valid reason to be.

Tell yourself whatever you want. I support all groups of Americans organizing for change, including the J6 people. I also supported the hoppers in New Orleans when they went on strike during covid. Organizing/protesting is the most American thing a person can do.

Its usually determined by market forces.

Go take an online Macro and Micro economics class. You'll be enlightened.

Wages are not arbitrarily set.

You believe you’re qualified to assess every situation and make the final determination of its merit. Fortunately, literally no one else agrees with you.

Youre a marxist. 100%

I doubt its fringe, lots of incapable people in this country want others to do their work.

All of them if you are writing decision support software for EMRs. Example: sure, it's fine to give that patient MRI contrast with a Creatinine of 5.0 or a GFR of <20 (I might have made that part up).
