Don't get me wrong, it sure seems like the officer who shot Brown did so legitimately. But don't go acting like police don't engage in brutality against minorities. Or engage in racist practices. I know for a fact that some do. Blatantly.

These same people would be crying racism if the police didn't patrol their high crime neighborhoods.

Maybe she bought, or rented the house and the bars were already on the house? If so, she might have thought the bars were installed because they looked nice. I'm sure that high crime areas aren't the only places that you'll see bars on windows. I've seen them on prisons windows.
