You completely missed the point of the episode. Al Gore was right about Manbearpig, and the solution to stop him was extremely easy and required only a modest sacrifice that no one was willing to make. The episode was taking a pot shot at liberals who pretend to care about global warming, but will never make even the tiniest sacrifices to their quality of life in order to stop it.
