If the Census determines the representation of each state, why would foreigners be included?
Because the census was intended to capture 'persons', not 'citizens'. In fact, there's a famous example you probably know that shows they intended it to capture people who were not citizens - can you name it?

They should count people at the International airports as well.

Are people living at the international airports?

Because the census is supposed to track where people reside.
But if we're tracking airport visitors, that's a big win for Georgia!

You think we don't have tons of illegal immigrants in Georgia?
My man, the peanut farmers are pissed about any barriers to hiring illegals. And have you ever been to Buford Highway?!

They argue that adding the citizenship question is likely to yield incomplete and inaccurate data because millions of immigrant families will refuse to respond
So they’ll break the law twice then is what the Dems are saying?

Can someone please explain to me how a question on the census is in any way "huge"?
I mean, what's to stop people from just checking "yes" to citizenship - or just leaving it blank?
If they ask the question, a lot of illegals won't fill out the form. That fact is, a lot of illegals already don't fill out the form. They get counted anyway - at least by estimates.

, its a myriad of other questions to collect useful data.
Like, what are you disabilities, what is your race, or how many toilets do you have.
It's funny that the left thinks it's OK to pry deeply into people's business on trivial things, but not for one question that is obviously important.

It's not obviously important.

I’m anxious to see how Ginsburg comes down on this. I’m sure she’s been diligently poring over the briefs the past few days.
Richard and Larry have been updating her on all the details.
They will phone in her decision later.

Don't expect this to go conservative's way. I fully expect Roberts to "swing" with the liberal side of the court Constitution be damned
Won't matter much when 'The Notorious RBG' is a no show.

It's not prying if it's a voluntary questionnaire. If you don't want the government to know how many toilets you have, don't tell them - or lie about it.
It's funny how drama queens on the board make such big deals out of nothing.

Its obviously more important than how many toilets someone has.

OK fine then.
Put the question in there and the illegals can just lie about it.

Exactly, or just not fill out the form. They'll get counted anyway.

The SS Admin itself admits millions of numbers have been stolen/misrepresented not sure how accurate that would be.
This is one of the main reasons illegal immigration will never be dealt with. Millions of illegals pay into the system with fraudulent ssn’s and will never get a dime.

I am fine counting non-citizens in the census, as long as their census counts go straight to ICE for investigation.
