Like I said, the microphone was in the players face after the games and they gave a full explanation as to why they were doing what they were doing.
Unfortunately a lot of this board was incapable of listening to them, or just simply did not want to.

in the interest of full disclosure
I mentioned a few years ago that drew brees' kids had white trash names (they do)
I called my niece the b word in an endearing way in private to my wife because she's sassy. didn't say that to her parents or broadcast it for public consumption on radio and I wouldn't post that on social media where anyone could see it.
funny enough it was the listeners who heard it and are familiar with this guy that had the strongest reaction. this dude is a bitchy gay guy being a bitchy gay guy but about a kid...in private, funny or fine...over the air. rubs people the wrong way.

I would not give one flying frick if someone said my kid was acting like a pissant on a reality show that I chose to film. Because guess what, often times, kids act like pissants. I don't live my life expecting others to live theirs in a way that doesn't hurt my feelings. But I'm also not a pussy

what's so disingenuous is that the players wanted to be heard (as if they have a problem being heard) and they were heard...they seemed to have a problem with the feedback.
i'll give them that. at least it's not one of those award shows where it's gutless and they expect to be applauded. they knew the boos would rain down.

people know why they're kneeling. I know. I think it's because they hate America because they think it's a racist country where black men are summarily executed in the streets and discriminated against in a variety of ways.
