I’m ashamed to say that the first thought that entered my mind was whether that was racist/prejudice or if it is normal to root for your own race and/or country representatives

Yeah that’s why I made the distinction, except in Japan you are fairly limited to Japanese, however, the point of my absurd observation is that a certain amount of prejudice may be normal

I don’t know about racism but I LMAO when he flew the 15th into the water on 16 and they played the Japan announcers reaction and they sounded like Godzilla had just invaded Tokyo.
