Have only used the term "socialist" once for the one who composed that emotional appeal to the world to basically "come on in" that is on our Statue of Liberty - Emma Lazarus.
The term has become meaningless over time as the moderate ideology that sets the table for the more extreme ideologies.
The need for "table setting" has long been over.

Most of the others in the so-called Right media are also basically "treetop conservatives" with more "no-go zones" than actual substantive stances on critical issues they've taken over the years.
Who are willing to backslide on issues and contradict themselves out of the blue when their listeners and viewers least expect it.
