Well. Sometimes there's one.

not due to the lateness of their nomination.
Not in all of those cases in the graph, and again, I never said they were not confirmed because of the lateness of their nominations, or that they were filling vacancies. I said that they were nominated late and not confirmed.

So, to recap, I agrees that it's not a "tradition" not to nominate a person in an election year, BUT many have failed to be confirmed after such a nomination AND I'm glad Garland wasn't confirmed because he's a government authority-loving 2A infringing shitbag.

I'll add to that that I sincerely hope at least (humorless old count) Ginsberg has an "unexpected" death similar to Scalia and that she too is replaced by the most conservative judge available. If Kagan or Mamasita accidentally fall and hit their heads repeatedly, that would just be gravy.

We cool?

correct. the process is that the president nominates, then the senate debates.
So you're okay with everyone wasting their time and effort debating and voting when the outcome is already obvious?

You work for the government, don't you?

Trump, unlike Obama, has appointed a few totally unqualified people

If what we've historically had in DC is "qualified", then maybe we need to rethink the criteria.
