Weird story in its lack of detail. Yes, it is okay for a party to determine bona fides of its representatives. Otherwise Dems would fund birddogs like David Duke. But this seems a case of the candidate not meeting residency requirements?

He’s already refuted that. Stop making excuses for the establishment.

This tweet is disingenuous at best. The law is to ensure that folks who run for a particular office are actual residents of that area and not just moving into a district so they can be elected. I’m sure it can possibly be abused, but TN wants representation from actual residents…not carpetbaggers.

Hey dumbass, how about doing some actual research. See my post above. He’s already refuted that.

I’m sick of this attitude that Republicans are ALWAYS good guys and “there has to be a backstory” because no way would the establishment or court system be corrupt.

Is this their idea of free and fair elections? No rules whatsoever?

yes, this is exactly how the filth wants it. They see they got away free and clear in 2020 and now they are perfecting the theft further.

Our "leaders" are now selected, not elected.

He did not fulfill a bylaw requirement mandating that candidates vote in three of the past four Republican primaries to be eligible to run.

Wouldn't this prevent any adult under say 21-25 from running for office under the Republican ticket in TN.

And stop anyone from running that "just woke up".

I get the guard rails, but interesting that all the other things he's done isn't taken into consideration.

That's like not considering a candidate with a decade of actual position experience, because he doesn't have a college degree.

My question is in there a hidden reason the TN repub party doesn't want him or if they over looked this in the past.

C. Any individual who is vouched for in writing (to the satisfaction of the
decision makers defined herein) as a bona fide Republican by an officer of the TRP or a member
of the CEC, excluding SEC members, of the County and/or District where said individual
resides. The decision makers defined herein may require additional verification that said
individual is indeed a bona fide Republican.

The final decision concerning said individual’s bona fide Republican status shall be determined
by a majority vote of the following: the State Chairman and each SEC member who represents
any portion of the district covered by said individual’s proposed candidacy.

Chill brah. I asked if there was a backstory, because I had no clue what was going. There obviously was one, because you provided a solid link. I also asked if the back story was something about him or something about the GOPe, so I was open to it being something wrong from either or both sides.

There's a backstory to everything and discussion is how it's narrowed down to determine how best to see it.
