Agreed. And wasn't Butt guy in the Air Force Reserves? I think I read that he was in the Middle East working in the financial crimes area. Yet the media makes it seem like he is some war hero. Someone should ask him how many firefights he was in. How many times he fired his weapon in anger.

What you did in the military is mostly irrelevant when you have a voting and legislative background.
Sure it's nice when you can bash an opponent who has never served and tries to relate to those who did, but you're not running for platoon leader/sergeant or company commander/1SG
