Some tech company bout to eat. Trump says he's opposed to Microsoft takeover of the app.

Who's the nearest competitor that can migrate over all those users? Their stock is going to soar.

Vine sure would be good to come back right aboit now.

Headline is a little misleading. That's what I read. Article basically says it's still up in the air.

Tik Tok just had a valuation of $50 billion from ByteDance. That could easily be a lie, though.

Reading a little more. Apparrntly Trump is not in favor of a divestment and takeover by Microsoft. He wants the Spyware CCP app banned entirely.

I seriously don't understand how and why Vine went away a few years ago. If it never folded, Tik Tok would have never risen to prominence.

Apparently Twitter owned Vine. Leave it to those idiots to never figure out how to properly monitize a gigantic app like everyone else.

Twitter bought Vine in 2012. ByteDance (parent Co. Tim Tok) was founded in 2012. Hmm... Coincidence?

If the Chinese couldn't steal IP, they'd still be living in huts.

Tik Tok is going down. The only question is, why isn't Zoom coming next?

Zoom is a goldmine for the CCP. Every business for 4 months has conducted meetings on their platform. I could give a shite less about stealing some 14 yr old moon's info, Zoom is probably openly taking trade secrets from just about every business in the world right now.

Smart businesses have banned it. My employer mandated Teams and not to accept any Zoom meetings

I don't know why people don't use Google meet instead of Zoom. The only thing I think Zoom has that Google doesn't is a record option.

Wonder why that is???? Buolt in record feature... What could possibly go wrong...I Mena right for the Commies.

Zoom will be next. Blumenthal/Hawley introduced a bill for doj to investigate and possibly terminate tiktok and zoom... so I think we could see bipartisan support to ban zoom too
