At no point was Chauvin ever given due process. The media openly tampered with and threatened the jury, with no repercussions of course. The judge was more interested in what was for lunch than the defense’s closing arguments

The verdict, which will be announced soon, was decided on May 25th of last year

It will be interesting on appeal. Maxine and Joe couldn't help themselves.

Yet another loss for traditional American ideals and values. This was a complete miscarriage of justice.

He’s going to be guilty on all counts with a decision reached this quickly.

No it won't. The appellate courts in Minnesota will do the same thing the trial judge did. They'll claim it was harmless error. This country deserves everything it has coming.

It's weird, mate. I'm not emotionally invested in this one. Maybe it's because the guy's life is over, even if he is acquitted. Or, he never really stood a chance for a fair trial. There a million other things I'm more upset about related to politics/news.

His appeal won’t see the light of day IMO. This is the new America and he’s got the wrong job / skin colour to be given any fair shot at justice. Have seen it happen in me ‘omeland for 10 years or so. Welcome to the new normal. Be careful on social media.

Chauvin is innocent and white people need to riot if he's found guilty.

I disagree - Chauvin would have been able to put this behind him IMO. I know guys like him and he’d have been perfectly happy moving to Uraguay or Puerta Vallarta and starting a new life.

Maybe the jury knew it would go to appeal, so why not just say guilty and get the hell out of there and be considered hero’s for.., whatever in stupid reason.

Good. You shouldn't ever be emotionally invested in a trial that doesn't involve you or anyone you know whatsoever. Far too many people get caught up in these things on both sides.

They will... but not for the reasons you’re suggesting

They could give Chauvin 100 billion years in a Venezuelan torture chamber and the left still wouldn’t be satisfied

He shouldn’t have been such an uncaring prick. I have insight into why he behaved that way - dealing with assholes like GF for 20 years gets you pretty cynical pretty quickly. Doesn’t make it okay though.
Could have been one of my buddies working as cops in Jefferson or Tangipahoa Parish. They have that same attitude after dealing with George Floyd’s day in and day out.

That said, he doesn’t deserve life in prison or even 10 years IMo. I was hoping for like 10 on manslaughter and then he gets out in 4. That was best case. Deep down I knew he was fricked.

I think he's found guilty, he appeals, down the road he gets a new trial, rinse repeat.

The loss of due process does involve you and everyone you know.

If the media can convict one person without a fair trial, it can convict anyone without a fair trial and you should fear the farce masquerading as "justice".

It worries me that so many people don’t see that we don’t live in that America anymore. I bet you his appeal will get zero consideration and I’m completely ignorant of legal proceedings.

Compare 1/6 protestors to BLM protestors

Compare Manafort and Stone to Podesta and Hunter

Compare Swalwell to Gaetz

At this point it’d be next to impossible to seat an impartial jury.
We have the POTUS* inferring his guilt before the jury has.
A fair trial seems out of the question.

Are you an imbecile, or just dim? You do realize that a criminal trial is due process, right?
