Isn’t immigration federal? Or could Louisiana allow one thing, then Texas another, then they’d just cross the state lines unchecked if they so pleased

Thank you for posting it before I could.

You cannot have unfettered immigration into one state or city. These illegal aliens can go to other states they choose after coming here illegally, thus violating other state's laws.

They have an entire ocean of water.They can just build desalination plants and pay $7.50 a gallon at the tap.

The salt has to go somewhere. Deny them they ability to put it back into the ocean. Environmental issues and all that.
