quote:

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed Tuesday that her department has asked federal prosecutors to see if they can lodge criminal charges against sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal deportation efforts.

quote:

The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available,” Ms. Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Her confirmation came after California’s new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1, severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer

quote:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan says those policies put his officers and local communities at more risk because they have to arrest illegal immigrants out in the community.

This is going to be fun to watch these cucked proggie bitches get perp walked trying to cater to a new voter base.

I get why they're doing it because Trump is about to buttrape them over the black vote but it's funny regardless.

Muh handcuffs!

Why can't they withhold federal funding heading to these cities and states?

Lock them up, fine them, cut funding, make them work on our Freedom Wall, house them in tents surrounded by razor wire, bread and water, etc ...

Scum.

Attorneys should be disbarred that advocate for illegal immigrants - they are actively working against the law to thwart execution of the laws as written. Sanctuary officials should be held personally liable for all costs as well, since they are operating outside of their duties of the offices they hold.

THis is heading to a major state/local v. federal constitutional crisis.

I’m honestly not sure what side should win.

I dont like the federal govt reaching squarely into a states rights issue.

Theres plenty of other issues this could affect.

Because activist judges in sanctuary cities keep getting in the way.

It's not a states rights issue.

Immigration is NOT a states' rights issue. Constitution gives Congress the sole authority to create uniform immigration laws for the US.

I understand your point of view. However, what about when one state endangers the other states? For example, if these sanctuary policies allow illegal criminal aliens to be untouched, will they not be able to travel throughout the entire US? They could migrate literally ANYwhere. What about that?

Cut the power, water, Internet and sewer services to sanctuary cities until they submit. Then drag out the city council members and drag them to the gallows. That’s what I would like to see.
