Austin is in no way representative of Texas as a whole, but Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are and they are solid blue now. Far cry from 2004, when George W. Bush carried Harris County and the DFW metroplex by huge majorities.
City propers of Dallas and Houston and San Antonio may be blue, but all burbs are deep red.. Collin County is example.

Surly is further left than this board is right.
Shaggy was a bit more rational but when that board fired up, it went hard left. If you ever wondered why aggies really hate Texas, the arrogance in that board is why.

They were 10 years ago, but not today. Fort Bend county went Clinton in 2016 and Beto in 2018 (by a big margin). And even my very conservative home county of Brazoria is changing to purple.

Basically, big cities are magnets for idiots and degenerates.
"If you don't want to work and be given free shite, then move here. Do you think you should be able to steal less than $750 worth of stuff and not be charged? Do you want to be able to shite on the street whenever you want? Do you think you are deserving of other peoples' labor even though you are uneducated, unskilled, and lazy? Then democrat cities are the place for you!"
Explains why I moved away from Dallas.

That's abominable IMO. And Dallas isn't the only major city to have implemented that policy.
Theft, is theft, irregardless of whether it's $5 or $5,000,000. Does our culture now favor anarchy?
