What he fails to understand is that until he starts fighting and taking political risk to fight the establishment, he never has a chance with Trumps base
Except he's actually done that for real in Florida. I'm not going to do your research for you, but it's all out there if you actually want to see it and don't have Trump tunnel vision.
He also fought against the establishment today taking political risk, that's literally what this thread is about. You don't think Trump, the GOP frontrunner, is the establishment candidate? There's not a much better definition of "fighting the establishment" than going against the grain by taking on the GOP's frontrunner.
"But but but Trump isn't the establishment!!" You can't make that argument when you're the party's favorite billionaire businessman that has been rubbing elbows with the establishment his whole adult life.

What Ron and the RonBots fail to undertake is that we all want conservative politics.
If that was true you wouldn't be a Trump supporter.
He's about as far from conservative as you can get.

2nd chances shouldn’t exist in politics. When HW Bush lost re-election in 1992 we told him to go frick himself and never show his face again. We were right to do so. Why are we not being consistent? Also, unlike Trump, HW Bush actually did get screwed. He had to contend with a Republican spoiler in Ross Perot who took away millions and millions of his votes.

And there it is.
So Trump couldn't drain the swamp the first time because the swamp was too strong.
But now, 4 years later, Trump is the only person strong enough to drain the swamp.
And I'm glad to see you admit that there is no policy and record as to why you are voting for Trump - instead you are voting for Trump based on "hope."

Call me when he starts attacking the GOP congressional leaders that have been in Washington for decades and I’ll reconsider. When he comes out and attacks the House repubs for doing nothing on the Biden crime family I’ll listen. That’s what I’m looking for out of Ron. Until then he is just another W, McCain/Romney.

At least he is willing to fight. Show me another politician who is and I’ll be on board.

And he'll do it as a lame duck spending half his term trying to get shitballs confirmed to his Cabinet.
Won't even get into the fact he would have problems getting anyone worth a damn to work for him.

No you won't. Ron has already put out a plan to tear down the alphabet agencies and you don't care.
Instead you'll make excuses for Trump.
And guess what - if trump somehow does win in 2024, he ain't gonna do any of the shite you think he will. He will not prosecute the Bidens, he will not tear down the DoJ, he will not fight the culture wars.
Just look at his record.

As the poster I was and the Trump supporter of 2016 and 2020 I don't know what I would be posting now. Its like 50% is rabid DJT acolytes and 50% are rabid dnc types trying to get DJT the nomination. Neither can be reasoned with.

And Trump isn’t establishment now that he has fully embraced Lindsey Graham and plays patty cake with him on stage after stage in state after state? Lindsey Graham. The biggest RINO/GOPe/NeoCon in Congress. That would be like DeSantis fully embracing Lisa Murkowski.
DeSantis has been leading the fight in culture wars against CRT, groomers, the trans agenda, and the woke mob. Trump has done nothing compared to what DeSantis has done on that. Additionally, DeSantis’ policies have given Florida a budget surplus. Trump ran up the deficit by spending like a drunken sailor, caving to the swamp on virtually anything by printing money we don’t have.

Are you one of those people that blames trump for not building the wall and not repealing Obamacare and give the Washington GOP a free pass?

Winners make policy. Losers whine.

Oh sorry I actually took government in school and understand how a bill becomes a law and who controls the purse strings in the federal government.

Constantly running your mouth and tweeting stupid shite like “LAW AND ORDER!” Isn’t fighting.
Fighting is enacting conservative policy to destroy the left and their false narratives. That’s what DeSantis does. When he says he’ll do something, he does it. On pro-life policies, the economy, woke ideology, indoctrination and child mutilation, etc. He doesn’t run his mouth about how he’ll lock Hillary up and then say right after the election that he doesn’t want to hurt her.

That’s all well and good. Love the policies. And yes Trump spent a shite ton during Covid. I agree that wasn’t ideal but Monday morning quarterbacking Covid is disingenuous IMO. Covid was a once in a lifetime thing.
But I still don’t think Ron understands the MAGA movement at all. He like the rest of the political class give zero fricks about us every day people and gets frustrated when we don’t fall in line with what he is saying. If he would come out and attack the GOPe, then I would take a hard look. I don’t hate Ron. I just don’t trust Ron yet. Fighting progressive policies is great but the dragon of the Washington uniparty is a whole different animal.

This infighting is delicious...

This board melts constantly about out of context comments. Why is anybody surprised?
