Today's lesson in history, brought to you by Barack H. Obama...

quote:

President Barack Obama was caught on camera on Monday assuring outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he will have "more flexibility" to deal with contentious issues like missile defense after the U.S. presidential election.

quote:

Obama, during talks in Seoul, urged Moscow to give him "space" until after the November ballot, and Medvedev said he would relay the message to incoming Russian president Vladimir Putin.

quote:

As he was leaning toward Medvedev in Seoul, Obama was overheard asking for time - "particularly with missile defense" - until he is in a better position politically to resolve such issues.

That's simply the most recent example of a different president doing it. And it's a flawless democrat to boot. But it goes beyond partisan lines....literally every Presdient since the dawn of time has instituted foreign policy that's reflective of his own political interests.

What do they have in common? They're slandered regularly by the mainstream media in this country for opposing war and empire. The reason the Deep State wants to take politics out of foreign policy is to make our post 9/11 adventurism permanent. They look at us as cannon fodder for their international political games. They are all psychopaths.

All examples that foreign policy IS a personal political interest. Politicians campaign on specific foreign policy. Trump certainly got elected in part for his foreign policy stances. It's a political interest when those foreign policies are instituted.

The Dems are acting like foreign policy is supposed to be a permanent thing. Foreign policy changes every fricking time the political party occupying the White House changes. They just don't like Trump implementing HIS foreign policy. It's the same shite with DACA. They seem to think that since 0bama put it in place, no one can undo it.

“I’m a bill, I become a law!”

“I’m an executive order. I sort of just happen.”

Any politician condemning political interests being inserted in foreign policy is laughable. They’re all guilty as hell of that.

I think these swamp lifers that have testified the last few days have made it clear they think foreign policy belongs to THEM. Anyone who challenges or alters their decided agenda must be dealt with. Trump's foreign policy agendas don't fit with their policy agenda. It goes well beyond Ukraine though...see the blowup over Syria a few weeks ago.
