I keep holding out that sliver of hope that we put some GPS trackers in the guys we released and we'll start hearing of drone strikes killing Mullah Omar and the rest of those dickheads.

Watch GPS (Fareed Zakaria sp?)from last Sunday. There is actually some optimism with the new government coming in that Afghanistan wont devolve into an even bigger wasteland. The Taliban have moderated a bit lately so there is some hope. We also need a signature on our Status of Forces Agreement.

True or false?
Obama just made a less than informed decision.
If Obama's sole information source, the press, would have just reported earlier on the deserter aspect of the Bergdahl case, he would have had much better info to go on.
I am sure Obama simply did not know these details until he read about them, and by then it was just too late.
