These Ron supporters think Haley will be the nominee through a back door scandal

Here's the theory:
The establishment is scared of Ron so they are pumping Haley up so that Trump will choose her as his VP pick once he gets the nom. After that, they will pressure Trump with fear of prosecution to drop out and Haley will get the nom through the back door.

Ron or Nikki neither one have a chance in hell of being trumps running mate. If he chooses one of them he will lose my vote because it will prove he’s in on all of this shite. He made the mistake last time of allowing people in Washington to tell him who he needed to appoint. Every single fricking person he chooses needs to be someone with no political experience.
I would find a lawyer from nowhere USA and make him the AG and do the same with the FBI and DOJ.

Voting for Haley will be the same as voting for gun grabber RFK Jr. Hell...voting for RFK may be better than voting for her. She is the only R candidate I will say that about. I would even vote for fatass Christie if a miracle happened and he got the nom but Haley I can not get behind.

I’ve seen this theory and I’m not on board but this isn’t the way I’ve seen most framed. In most cases pundits are saying that the uniparty wants Haley to be the only one left standing when Trump gets convicted. She is a significantly weaker candidate than Ron. Everyone knows she’s a weaker candidate.

My question is who the hell is Haley's base?
I've seen internal polling of pastors and Nikki Haley has no support in the evangelical community. I don't think the "nevertrump" people would go completely for her either. Her "support" seems completely artificial.

Deace thinks Trump is leading the republicans to slaughter and he isn’t afraid to say it.
You just want someone who spews whatever you agree with. The best commentators are the ones who aren’t afraid of their audience. They are going to say what they believe, even if it pisses off their listeners.
That’s the biggest problem in the Republican Party right now.
