I find it funny that even conservatives are seemingly afraid to state the obvious.

In the south, the ONLY reason they are in play for Democrats is black people. So, let me help you out.

In 2000, blacks were 28% of Georgia(whites were 65%). In 2022, they are 33%(whites are 61.8%). It's not an "influx of white liberals" that's the problem. It's the fact that black people are rabbits and white people aren't having babies.

You'll find the same pattern everywhere.

It's not one or the other, it's both. You can see it broken down at the precinct level where the racial makeup is stable in some places but overall population has grown (yankees) and those places go from red to blue.

It's mostly blacks, obviously. It's also a decent amount of liberals moving in. It's also an inept GOP message not giving average Joe's a reason to vote for them.

All of the above.

Which is why it is all the more important that the R's continue to cultivate the relationship with the fastest growing segment of our population, hispanics.

If you move the needle just a little on White support it's landslide time.

Stop trying to make fetch happen. The more Hispanics you gain the more disenfranchised Whites will just stay home.

Meh.

The problem is simple. As you see in Georgia. Each race shifted about 5% in totals.

HOWEVER, keep in mind that a 5% increase in blacks is a nearly 100% return of that increase for Democrats.

ANY decreases in white people, the losses are more evenly split. This magnifies the damage to the right.

If anything, the influx of white people from ANYWHERE in a state like Georgia is softening the blow. In states like Miss and La, blacks are also rabbits........and, there's no counteracting influx of white people.

Sure, whites from the north are "more" liberal but NOTHING competes with the hive mind that is the black voter.

Short term maybe.

However, the demographics are what they are and, whites HAVE A shite TON more in common with hispanics 2nd generation forward than they will EVER have with blacks.

So just be pro-white (and rake in way more votes) and let the mexicans vote alongside that rather than the pro-black opposition.

The fact that Alabama is 26.5% black and 66.2% white is one of the reasons I disagree with you. They overwhelmingly vote GOP.

There are an excessive amount of woke whites living in ATL who vote Dem.
