The oil prices have been coming down so much, and we are NOT seeing anything at the pump by comparison to what it should be. We should be, in my opinion, at $2.25 right now at the pump. And we're higher than that!"
"And we are doing a big investigation on it, you know. They're not reducing the prices commensurate with what's happening. Look, we are sending out, think of it, 19 million barrels came out of it."

Tim Burchett has been on this for awhile. Calling these companies out for gouging. Hopefully an announcement of an investigation will prompt them to correct their pricing.

"There's a statute that I signed when I had my first term that if you do anything to hurt statues or monuments, fountains... you go to jail for 10 years and there's NO shortcuts.
In other words, it's not five years for good behavior. It's a very tough statute."

There it is --for those who doubt that Trump is implementing Hamilton's American System. A HISTORIC speech on our 250th anniversary. The whole speech, at the New York Economic Club yesterday was a schooling by our "economic historian" Treasury Secretary, in the principles of Hamilton's wholly new, American invented, economics.
AI Overview
Alexander Hamilton’s economic plan—often referred to as the "American System" of political economy—was a visionary framework to transform the early United States into a self-sufficient, industrialized superpower. First laid out in his Report on Manufactures, it focused on economic nationalism to reduce American reliance on European imports.
The American System rested on three mutually reinforcing pillars:
Protective Tariffs: Hamilton proposed tariffs on foreign imports to make them more expensive, encouraging Americans to buy domestically produced goods and protecting infant U.S. industries.
A National Bank: He championed the creation of the First Bank of the United States to manage the country's money, issue currency, and provide credit to fund new commercial and industrial ventures.
Infrastructure and Internal Improvements: Hamilton advocated for federal investment in physical infrastructure—like roads, bridges, and canals—to better connect regional markets and facilitate trade across the country.
Together, these policies favored a strong central government with a diversified economy spanning agriculture, manufacturing, and commerce. Later, this vision was formally popularized and expanded as the "American System" by politicians like Henry Clay in the 19th century.

I scrolled through their job listings earlier today. I found it kinda funny that they're basically listing jobs where the job description is like, "do you wanna do James Bond shite? Apply today."
