The great leaders are dreamers.
You seem to be describing a low IQ dreamer

I appreciate the conversation

I mean history books are filled with them and leadership books are wrote based on their example. Having a positive mental attitude is a prerequisite for them.
If they were naturally predisposed to negative thinking, they wouldn’t attempt what others saw as impossible.
People’s lives are hard enough without having the person trying to lead them constantly pouring negativity into them.

OK...
Name one. Let's start there.

Julius Caesar
My dude, Julius Caesar was pragmatic and decisive. He was a visionary, sure, but not exactly what I'd call a "dreamer." I mean, the dude damn near perfected bread and circuses, which feeds my larger point.

Imagine truly believing that is happening.
What reasons do you have to believe that isn't the aim of Trump's policies thus far?

The titles of dreamer & realist are probably too black & white. And the definition of each should probably be better defined. There’s likely a better title to use.
But it makes the point that some are naturally positive and others are naturally negative. By default a leader has to be naturally positive to be effective. That’s not to say a realist can’t lead, but I don’t believe they can lead dreamers. They can only lead other realists. Dreamers can lead both.

You know the phrase "history repeats itself" references similar events, not exact reenactments, correct?

Link to whatever it is you think is similar to what's happening now.

Pragmatist and idealist would probably be more accurate.

Not necessarily. A leader must put on a show of being positive. Julius Caesar is a great example of this. An idealist in public, and a pragmatist when making decisions and actually leading.

No.
But to throw you a bone, here's a reminder of what you actually said:
quote:
aim of Trump's policies
There's no need to backpedal on that.

Well, when some retard can't even stick to his own point, what makes you think I'm going to waste serious time discussing anything with that retard?

Asking you to support your claims isn't making a point, dumbass.

Thanks for admitting you didn't have a point.
Now you know why I refuse to engage you in discussion.
fricking retard.

That's not a gotcha, I was asking a simple question. Then you got all defensive because you couldn't answer said simple question.
