No. The reason was the panic the government spread to the population. You couldnt find aa lot of normal things in march 2020- bleach, bread, toilet paper, gloves, masks yada yada yada
Same reason there is a short lived toilet paper shortage a couple years ago when the ports went on strike. Populations are stupid and panic buy supplies

I hate charts like these. It gives you the impression that we are nearing Zero but the bottom line starts at 40. So there are a little more than 40 days of oil left compared to the average of 65.
I am pretty sure in a pinch the Texas and Louisiana folks could boost production some more if forced to.

They’re both hoaxes until we see hyperinflation. Fuel -fuels- the entire economy let along the production of 60%+ of our consumer goods. There is no indication that hyperinflation is imminent, you’d been seeing the early warning signs now
