I agree, and the sole reason Trump wants it is the same. I think a wall is fine but won’t solve illegal immigration, there’s more effective things that need to be done in conjunction with it. This is a battle over symbolism on both sides at this point.

Both sides feel the same way, imo.

Its not that simple. It will be brought up that Mexico is not paying for it.
People are so ignorant to think that since Mexico isnt handing over 5 bil that means they are not paying for it.
They will pay for it under President Trump in relation to trade or support. Idiots wont see that though, and will still bitch.

In the past, the politicians could pay lip service to building a wall because they knew it would never be done. No Congress or President was ever serious about building one....until now.
President Trump is serious, so now they are losing their ever-frickin' mind over it. That's one of the things I love about Trump. He rattles their cages by simply fulfilling his campaign promises. That makes the rest of them look bad.

I kind of think Schumer would make a deal. He has voted for all of this stuff before. Pelosi might make a deal but the new socialist firebrands would roast her in the House and big tech in her district would turn their backs on her.

They know a wall will work. That's why they are against it. All they care about is regaining political power and control.
They had BIG plans for ruining this country with their globalist/socialist agenda and they were depending on Crooked to carry it all out.
