There is a very large atheist segment of the left that gets how preaching dumb shite is dangerous. But you cant outlaw an idea and that's the hard part. If you have freedom for all religions its hard to prevent ideas from migrating but we do recognize that their is a large problem in Islam.

If he change the name would you listen then. I will do more research on the "young Turks" name but that doesn't change how I feel about their political views. If I think the name is garbage, all I can do is try to call them out on it. I don't defend garbage just because its progressive.
